The Stubby project was an incredible and humbling experience in the world of applied mechatronics. This project taught me so much about liquid propellant, fluid dynamics, safety-oriented software design, embedded systems, and the applications of radio communication in mechatronic systems. In 2023 I competed in the Spaceport America Cup with the UTS Rocketry team. This was a momentous moment for the team and university as it was the first time any project team had competed in an international competition.

Description The Meerkat ground station is a ground operations centre for centralising data on a rocketry site. The system comprises of a physical box that hosts several web UIs that provide data on various subsystems involved in the ground operations.
